LVNV is not one of those companies. Portfolio and Midland are the top 2. LVNV is brutal and you'd have a better chance at being hit by lightning holding a golf club in a thunderstorm than getting a PFD from them.

For some reason, I thought that LVNV was owned by the same group that owns Midland.

Yeah Midland is 2 names= Midland Funding LLC or Midland Credit Management

And LVNV has 2 names= LVNV Funding and Resurgent Capital LLC

Not associaited. Its all good. One's great! The other sucks!

I thought LVNV was one of Resurgent's many agents, not that it's necessarily the same company, but LVNV is under the Resurgent umbrella. Or the other way around.

In any case, I did call them because I have one payment left on my balance which I will be making in the next couple of weeks, and I asked the CSR if they delete after payment and of course they shot me down. But I will try again and ask for a supervisor or something next time, maybe.
