Okay, here it goes. I was going through the HIPAA process and cleaning up my credit, but I had to step back for a bit so I didn't go completely insane. Now I'm ready to get back at it. I will try and just give the main points.
I have three medical bills, all of them are paid and marked as such on my credit report.
I sent out the pre-HIPAA letter to the CRA's. After that I sent HIPAA letter #2 to the OC's.
Results.
Medical Bill #1 Removed from all 3. Thank you everyone!!!
Medical Bill #2 Removed from 1, reporting to TU and EXP. Magically it got removed from EQ,
although I never heard anything about it.
Medical Bill #3 Removed from 2, reporting to EQ. Magically it got removed from TU and EXP,
although I never heard anything about it.
So where do I go from here? I'm not sure why those would have fallen off some reports but not others. What is my next step? Thank you all so much, you have been great so far.
I have a couple of these questions out there too and waiting for someone to come rescue me.
