Medical Question (Could not post anywhere else) Need some help please!!!

I am trying to recover from medical debt.  I have posted before about medical and got a link to the HIPAA process.  The hospital where all of my medical debt is through sent me a statement and copies of all of the bills that I currently owe them.  I know a few of them are with collections agencies.  What should I do with the bills that are through the collection agency or the hospital where I owe it or just follow the HIPAA process anyway?  I would like to get these cleared up I am trying to improve credit and buy a house within the next couple of years.  I already have two secured credit cards and need to get these paid off.  Thank You for any help that anyone can give.

If at all possible, pay the OC.  Even for the ones in collections.

Before doing anything Opt out with all the CRAs.

Can you explain the reason for opt/out of crbs?

Opting out stops the CRAs from selling your information to anyone else.   You also need to Opt out with all creditors to prevent JDB and CA from buying and selling false collections.

Okay I already did the OPT-OUT thing.  If I pay the medical bills that are in collections to the original creditor will it show up on my credit report that it is paid through the collection agency?  Do I do that Pay for Delete thing that is on the HIPAA process?  Please Help?  If at all possible please explain step by step how to do this.  I really appreciate all of your help...Thanks.

Sorry i dont know alot about the HIPPA process.I did mine by PFD with the CA before i knew about the HIPPA.

What do you recommend doint?  Does the PFD work?  I have a few medical debts on my credit report that are low and maybe I should try the PFD with those and use the HIPAA process for the others.  Thanks for your help.
