Medical Showing Paid collection

I have a medical collection that just updated and is now showing paid. I have not paid anything on this collection. What should I do? It is showing paid only one 1 bureau while the other 2 are still showing not paid.

Where you seeing this? How old is it. Could insurance have paid it. Whos the collector and how much. Need more info please.

I'm seeing it on my credit report. On myfico. Its only showing on transunion as paid, and on the other 2 as unpaid. It will be a year old in July. The collector is gulf coast collection. I looked on my insurance account and didnt see anything about it being paid.

Also gulf coast collection is literally 5 mins away from my house

Since its so close. First go by the med provider and offer to pay them and remove the collections. If not. Drive by and offer to pay in person in leui of removing the entry on your report at the CA. Face to face is better than phone calls.

Just now  showed up to their office Just paid it, and got a pfd letter.
