Medical bills - pay to delete?

Hi, I have recently learned I have some small unpaid medical bills on my credit report and not sure how to get them removed. I am happy to pay in full I just want to make sure they are compeletly removed once I do. Can someone please let me know the proper way to do this? I have heard about sending a pay to delete letter so does anyone have a template or know where I could find one?

Hello and welcome. Yes, PFD would be the best process for removal. There are several examples under the "frequently requested threads" at the top of the forum page. You may want to call or email the CA also. Quicker and they can email you a doc stating they will delete. Be persistent. Good luck.

What is now being reported?

Is it only an OC account showing derogs, is it only a collection, or is it both?

Thanks for the info. It is actually being reported but a collection agency. Not sure what you mean by what is being reported but it is just 5 or 6 small bills from misc procedures that I will have to figure out what and when they were from. Do you know where I can find a template for a pay to delete letter?

Thank you and thanks for the info. I actually did try on one item sometime back but they never followed up with sending me anything. I paid it and it remains on the report!

Talk to  the original creditor ( the provider of the service)  about these accounts. Ask them if you were to pay them in full would they recall your account(s) from the colelction agency. This is another form of pay for delete you cannot use PFD with the origiinal creditor because they are not reporting the account.
