How long did it take for it to be removed from your report? I paid it last week, received my letter right away stating that they would remove it, and now I'm just waiting for it to go away.
You need to be patient these things generally take 30-60d. A recent PFD I just did took 6 weeks for it to be removed and it was when they normally did their monthly update on the account. Not the same CA, but it will always cary. It could be quick or it could take awhile. I know it is hard to be patient, but you have cone this far, and you are almost there!

I don't have time to be patient as I am currently in underwriting for my house. That's why I asked the original poster how long did it take for them to get it taken care of. I had recently completed a PFD in June, and it was removed within 9 days. With that being said, I sent my loan officer the letter that I received from Midwest Recovery (after I wrote my post on this board) stating that I settled the account and don't owe a balance. She sent it to the credit bureaus, so it should be gone by the end of next week. ![]()
