Hey all!
I'm two days shy of being a month into my credit repair journey. I've ignored my credit for years because ignorance was bliss, I've been in the position to fix it for a while ("cash rich, credit poor")..so I decided around the holidays I would dedicate this year to getting my credit reports clean in order to qualify for a house in the next few years. This forum has been so helpful, and I owe a lot of the work to you all for being so supportive.
Here is the progress I've made in less than a month
Starting Fico8 scores, December 27th, 2020:
Exp: 542
EQ: 471
TU: 485
Current Fico8 Scores, January 25th, 2021:
Exp: 614
EQ: 512
TU: 579
In the next 30 days I'll have 5 out of 6 collections falling off of all my CR's (PFDs) and will have my revovling utilizations down to 30% across each bureau. Very excited to see what my scores look like a month from now. Once that is done I will only have 1 medical collection on my reports that will be 2 years old!
Good luck on the rebuild! I'm in the same boat. Started my rebuild journey in September 2020 and looking towards purchasing a home in the next few years. Looking forward to reading about your rebuilding progress!
Hey congrats! From experience, once you get that UTI below that 10% threshold, you should see another real good jump. Keep it up!

That is my next goal! I should be able to accomplish the 10% threshold within the next 2 months....I will never take credit for granted after this rebuild.

Same here! Glad to have people to turn to on the same journey - it doesn't feel so overwhelming!
