Moving Soon for a new job and will need a car...

High 600's here.  I'm moving soon for a new job, and will need a car.

Seeing as I have been at my current residence for 5 years, I should apply NOW for the new car, versus after the move, correct?

Welcome @hankfit247b

Time at residence helps or you get have you been at such and such address for more than 2 yrs question. Either way you need a car. Grab one now. It will help you move.

It's very much dependent on the lender, some will weigh residency stability more than others. 5 years at the same address should qualify as stable with most any lender but, I understand your concern.

Are you moving out of state? Is your income going to be significantly higher with the new job? Things to consider as well.

Thanks!  It's been a while since I've applied for any type of new credit.
