My rebuilding journey, input required

Hello folks, I came across this site and read about 15 pages of information, so I'm gonna take a shot at it. I am from Canada, so terms maybe be different this operation. I'll explain the 3 listed on the screen shot I posted below.

Capital One, I owe the balance shown, and currently waiting to hear back on it with payment information. I will be requesting something in ink with a signature and an agreement to have it removed and/or showed its been paid.

Royal bank, I've paid that off along time ago and a little un certain as to why it was reported in 2010? Seeing as its from 2005, should it not be off my report seeing its been 7 years now?

Rogers cell, a deal with the devil but that is also paid off, so hopefully next year it disappears..

My score from TransUnion is 484, I figure once I have the cap 1 paid off it should jump up.

Any information you folks have that might help a 25 year old out who's now realizing the importance of credit, I'm all ears.

The Cap1 is your baddie.  It's closed and a CO and it's still factoring into your util, so it's doing maximum damage.

The Royal Bank of Canada, it was opened in 2005 but that does not mean the baddie happened then that put it in a derogatory state.  It's not a CO, which means there are probably just some lates somewhere down the line.  It's hard to tell because this only shows the payment status back for so long.  It will not fall off as a bad account, the lates will fall off 7 years from when they happened and this will turn into a positive account.

The Rogers Communications isn't a negative.  It's a closed account and will continue to add to the AAoA of your CR for 10 years since it was paid.  Leave it alone.

+1 on getting that Capital One paid down. I recently paid down $1,400 of charge-off debt that was factoring into my utilization. With it now at $0, once they update I will be anxious to see what it does to my scores.

Re: My rebuilding journey, input required

Just spoke with the collection department on behalf of C1, they are sending an agreement in ink agreeing to have the account marked as closed and paid. So now I have to wait another 7 years before thats off my report?

The 7 year timer started when the first late led to the CO status. This should be your DoFD.
