Need Fast Advice!

I'm interested in paying a CO that has been sold by Target to a comapny called First Source Advantage, LLC . The account appears by the OC as a collection, but is not reported by the CA. Target said they could not accept any payments and that First Source was completely in charge of the accounty. I called First Source to find where i could send a DV but they refused to give me any information without a SSN or my name. I of course refused to provide this information stating that I wanted to send a letter of validation and simply needed an address where they could receive correspondece. TWO agents hung up on me after refusing to provide me with the information unless i gave my name and SSN. What should I do?

Re: Need Fast Advice!

Thanks for the info...this makes me even more weary of dealing with this company as they told me that they are located in Buffalo, NY....

Re: Need Fast Advice!

Amherst is a part of the greater Buffalo area, and is it's largest suburb.  It was actually created from the Town of Buffalo (later, the City of Buffalo) back in the 1800's.

(I didn't know this, either...I just looked it up now).
