Newbie help please!

This board has got to be the most educational resource regarding credit, so here goes.

Many moons ago, probably 10-15 years, my mother put me on her Chase and BofA cards as an AU. She traveled a lot and I helped take care of "stuff" while she was gone, since I still lived at home at the time. Until recently, I was not even aware that I was still an AU. Well, as luck would have it, she has fallen behind in payments and it's reporting on my CR even though I'm just an AU. It apparently doesn't factor into the TU and EX score, but my EQ took a nosedive as soon as it was reported. Question is, can I get removed as an AU? and how?

Thanks in advance for the help!

It's easy to get off AU accounts. You can either have the creditor remove you or dispute it with CRA's as "not my obligation"
