Open collection factoring into utilization?

Collection with Portfolio Recovery ($463) showing open and contributing to my utilization, will i see a bump in my score when this is paid?

CAs & JDBs are not included in revolving credit utilization only OC revolving TLs are. When it updates to a paid collection it may drop your score if it has not been updated for awhile as it will look like a new collection even though it is paid. Paid or unpaid makes no diff both are equally as bad, try to get the PFD.

Thanks for the response. I see. Its almost better if i dont touch it. I have tried PFD with this company and they will not budge. :-(
