PFD Collections Question!

I have a few unpaid collections from 2008/2009.  I was wondering when you ask for a PFD. Is it possible to pay in installments? or are PFD only in one payment?

Most people offer a lump sum when negotiating a PFD.   It is generally more likely to be accepted than an offer of payments over time.

Mind if I ask how long it took you and who the CA was?  I can pay off the collections just not in a lump sum

Re: PFD Collections Question!

I've set up payment arrangements in conjunction with my paydays with numerous of collection agencies. I told them how much I wanted to pay and how often I wanted to pay it and it was handled from there. As far as how long it takes, it depends on how much the debt is and how much I am putting toward it, since I am doing two different collections at the moment I have 85$ going to TWO different collections, whomever is paid off first will get the remaining 85$ to pay off quicker, get it?
