I sent a PFD letter for a collection account. They sent me back the info that validates the account.
I already know that it is my account. I am just trying to pay it in full and have it deleted.
They never mentioned anything about the PFD.
What should I do next? Thanks.

I suggest rewording it then send it again and again and....
Hi ficonut. I understand your frustration.
If you never disputed the debt itself, either through the CRA under the FCRA, or with the CA through a DV letter to them, then you apparently concede the debt, at least in the mind of the CA. That is reinforced, at least in the mind of the CA, by the PFD letter, which they most likely interpret as and implied admission of the debt, and also an offer to pay, which may, depending upon your state SOL laws, be a basis for resetting your current SOL.
I have no idea of the DOFD on the debt, amount of the debt, or of the current SOL running on suit for the debt. The CA only cares about the SOL, not your credit report. If that still has a while to run, they are probably holding out in hopes of collecting it all without any discretionary need on their part to get involved in CRA deletion of a previously accurate report to them.
A flood of PFD letters may aggravate them, and if the debt is substantial, may motivate them to sue. They may also extend your SOL.
So, IMHO, I would first get a defintive read on your current state SOL.
Okay today I receive a letter from CA that says "that the account has been reported as disputed" and that upon me sending them a copy of my drivers license and a valid phone number they will tell me more about the account.
What does this mean???? I sent a PFD letter and they sent me back a validation and now this......
