Hey all, I have a little problem and any advice would be greatly appreciated....
Palisades collections accepted a PFD and faxed me a deletion letter, they immediately removed the collection from all 3 reports. I have a copy of the deletion letter and the money order that they were sent. Upon checking DH's credit today I noticed Palisades popped back up on his credit report as a new collection with a 0 balance.
Can they do this?? I called Experian and tried to explain the situation, unfortunately the CSR was quite rude and unknowledgeable and told me my only option was to file a dispute, now knowing how CA operate I told her the only thing the CA would probably do is verify the info. getting me absolutely nowhere when I asked to speak to a supervisor she transferred me to a general delivery mailbox. 
What are my options at this point, correct me if Im wrong but I thought I read somewhere that I could send the CB'S the copy of the deletion letter and they would delete it ????? Did I miss something
