Patiently Awaiting Good Will Callback

I hadn't done any Good Will Adjustment rounds since January. I have one late with Chase from two years ago, that I've been attempting to remove for a year now. They typically call me within three days with the Cheery- "We are required to report accurately, etc, etc.". Although, something felt different this time when I sent off the email.

Actual point of my posting is to ask those of you with successful or off-the-wall GW moments, to come forward and share your stories. I know it's been done again and again, but I'm sure there are newer stories. And quite frankly, while we're all bored building, the old ones are entertaining too.

So?

Thank you to whomever removed the double post. Not sure why that even happened. Pressed post once and the internet lagged 👌🏽

Re: Patiently Awaiting Good Will Callback

I was in the same boat with a 30 day late with finger hut. I sent off a few emails got a mail response saying basically no. Send emails again and got a email response saying no again. I’ll try again next month now that I have a direct email to the collections department.

Good luck on your removal with chase.

@Wizard10

Thanks. I've never received any goodwill forgiveness. But, all the success stories I've ever read had one thing in common- persistence.

I understand that it's a lot more difficult than it used to be, but they still happen. Keep us posted on how your FingerHut letters play out.

You’ll get one. I got my first one late last month it was a charge of from credit one bank I sent a few emails and then within a week or 2 at most it was gone off my report.
