Paying a Creditor directly while enrolled with FDR

Hello. My question is:

If I am currently enrolled in Freedom Debt Relief and I come into a bunch of money would it be wise for me to pay the creditor directly? Basically behind FDR's back... Would I be able to avoid paying the settlement fees etc.. if I just contact the account directly and pay them instead of depositing into my FDR account?

Thanks

What are the contract terms set forth in your repayment contract?

That contract controls what is legally permissible by each party.......

Of course you can. You can add or remove accounts from the program. However if they negotiate the settlement and you want to remove, they likely will take the settlement fee. A lot of people do that with their chase account and AMEX accounts since they don’t negotiate with debt settlement companies.
