I sent 3 DV letter to Pinnacle in the past four months with no response. And they continued to update my CR every month. So I filed a complaint with the AG, FTC, and BBB. BBB received my case on April 13 and Pinnacle responded to them on May 5th stating:
Pinnacle Credit Services, LLC is in the process of recalling the consumer's account from the collection agency, closing it internally and requesting removal of its tradeline from the credit bureaus to whom it previously reported. Please be advised that the bureaus act on their own time table and Pinnacle is unable to guarantee an immediate removal of its tradeline.
Does this mean that they are actually going to delete or do they respond like this just so the consumer and BBB will stop hounding them? If they do not delete can I use the response from the BBB to have it deleted?
