Please Help Me...BOA Secured, Credit One

I went crazy and applied for a Capital One secured,,,,app in review found out i have fraud alert on equifax

Applied for a card with my bank (BOA) got approved!

Applied for credit one unsecured got approved for 300 limit but app still in review? Is credit one bogus or do I just have to wait for them?

cap1 secured is pretty darn excellent too.  You can wait on that one.

Credit One has the reputation of Ebola laced chronic diarrhea...in these forums. 

so...yeah. Others will comment, but there's a helpful hint I think.

and yea i should have waited i remember applying a year ago and never heard back after getting approved im hoping the cap one gets approved

If there's a Fraud Alert on EQ, I'd be checking with EQ about that.  I don't think Cap1 might approve with a fraud alert but it won't hurt to call.  Search in forums for Cap 1 Backdoor number Recon.

PS card from Cap1 is a credit steps card.  So...IMO after 6 months with your secured card, if the Cap1 prequal shows any cards preapproved, you're preapproved for it.  YMMV but that's my opinion!  

YMMV but I was approved for the PS card in Sept with 590-610 Scores.  Went from $500 to $2k on credit steps. GL!
