Possible Collection?

I'm about to have ZERO mortgages on any of my credit reports.

One was a foreclosure, but weird at that and is now only showing on EQ until tomorrow I believe.

The other was a 2nd mortgage CO.

I'm not sure which of the two this is about, but I saw a SP on one of my CR from a DTA Solutions from 9/2012.  Can they come after me after the fact??

Re: Possible Collection?

Is your concern one of credit reporting, or of legal action?

Any reporting of a collection would be required to be excluded from your credit report no later than 7 years plus 180 days from the DOFD on the debt.

Defense against any legal action would depend upon whether the statute of limitations on the debt has expired under your state law.

I may be concerned over nothing at all.  Smiley Wink
