Possible GW success

I emailed a GW letter to the CEO of Capital One and just a couple days later received a call from his secretary mentioning that he had her call me regarding my GW Letter. She was very nice and helpful. She basically asked me what happened and what I would like to see happen etc and after about a 10 min conversation she informed me that she personally would be looking into it for me and try to do a deletion of the CO from 2010. Fingers crossed!!!!

Yes! I emailed them concerning three charge offs and the called and informed me on Wednesday that they be deleted off my credit reports, as of today they are gone off of two of them.

How long ago were your chargeoffs? I have one as well but it's been within the past year so it might be to recent?

I have a few chargeoff with them from 2011-2012. I am going to try and contact the EO, and see if they will remove them from me.

Mine where from 2010 so I only have 2 more years until they fall off and I made sure to make that clear in my GW letter along with the fact that they are PIF. I hope they decide to delete them, that would help tremendously

Did they happen to tell you on the first phone call they were deleting them or did they call back a few days after and say they would be?

I had this experience as well yesterday, she was really nice and understood the bk said she experienced it herself asked how the wifeys illness was and all. She stated that she didnt know 100 what they could do but she would get with that department and make a best effort to get it removed. Crossing my fingers. She said she would call me back to let me know what she finds out...

Congrats on the possible GW. Can someone PM the contact information for capital one EO. I have a charge off from 2008 that I recently paid and would like off of my CR. It's scheduled to fall off next year.
