Possible to have this message removed? How?

Capitol one did update my account and it now shows no late fees. Unfortunately it shows this at the bottom in the comments section:

Consumer disputes this account information,Account paid for less than full balance

Should I request removal? They did removal any history of late payments, but I am not sure what to do next.

I believe you can call the CRA and have them remove the "cust disputes" comment.

The Settled for less comments will continue to ding your FICO score until removed.   If you were successful with GWing late payments then your next step would be to work on the settled comments.

It's really hard to know;  A notation of settled is considered a major derogatory item and will condequently put you in a "dirty" FICO scoring bucket.
