Progress on my PFD letters

Got my first response back for a PFD today. The CA was Columbia Credits Inc for $288.00.

They actually got my number and called. Said they can't delete the tradeline, just show it's been paid is all.

Which won't make a bit of difference for me since it's 2 years old. I asked to be transfered to someone higher

and they said they would transfer me to there"lawyer" His name was Steve and he told me the exact same thing.

I told him that he's the one reporting the info and he's the one that can delete it to. He argued and I kept cool knowing

the stuff I know from these forums. He finally said" Yes I can delete it but I won't because that's not a moral thing to do"

I said your not get anything from me unless you agree to my PFD letter and send confirmation back. He started stuttering

and was shocked I knew what I did(could tell from his voice and how mad he was getting). Thanks to this forumSmiley Happy

Anyways I will give an update on how this progress is going and more. I will send out another letter in a couple weeks.

They want my money they will --Delete---! STAND YOUR GROUND

Good job just remember if this is inside states SOL they can still sue you, might be better to just settle and then move to GW letters.  Good luck Smiley Happy

Re: Progress on my PFD letters

Thanks for the adviceSmiley Happy

An attorney in town here just told me that company won't take me to court for that amount of money. It would cost them way to much and still would be hard to get

the money from me. The collection company is about 20 minute drive from me. He said that collection agency won't take me to court over that because it would be to hard

to get the money from me in oregon so in turn not worth there time and money. So I guess I will just keep sending PFD letters to them until they decide they want

there moneySmiley Happy and Oregons SOL is 6 years, have like 4 to go. Will keep updating on this post. ThanksSmiley Happy
