Pulling my ChexSystems Report and My Innovis Report

I am a victim of Identity Theft, and who knows whats on those.


I don't get pre-approved offers anymore since its happened. and Dont pre-approvals use Innovis too?


ChexSystems I am less worried about, because I have been able to get bank accounts no problem.


When you get a charge off or collection, do they report to innovis, just a way of secretly getting you without you knowing for years?


Mine were all ID theft, and easily removed, but still.

Not all report to Innovis. It is a YMMV situation. I will look at a CA's brochure and lit if I ever have to deal with them. Couple of them do advertise that they report to Innovis.

Just request a report form Innovis - dispute any inaccurate data.

Will requesting a report from Innovis put a hard inquiry on my other three CR's?  Or are they totally sepaate from them?

No, it will not put a hard inquiry on the other 3 CRA's. Innovis is a small outfit, but it's good to know it is there, especially if you are cleaning up ID theft. I requested mine and while there were only a handful of creditor's listed on it, the address they have on file is one from long ago. It surprised me that it would be listed as a current address since all of my accounts were opened years later under a different address.

Thanks, I'll go ahead and pull mine to see if there are any hidden timebombs on it.  One of the mortgage companies I checked with earlier this year did use them, so I'm sure others will as well in the future.  Better safe than sorry.  Thanks again.

all i can say is good luck as i pulled my innovis and chexsystems and they told me there is nothing listed but when i tried to open a new account 2 hours later the bank told me that there is accounts listed in chexsystems so be careful as i think that chexsystems and innovis do not tell the consumer the truth
