Question about dates.

I have a question.    Is the DATE LAST ACTIVE the date I follow for the 7 year mark to have this fall off my credit report?  Or do they go by date reported? Collection on debt to: Gmac Llc

The collection agency "606yc13027" was hired to collect a debt of $2,739 originally owed to "Gmac Llc" on account number

No, you'll want to find the date of first delinquency.  DOFD.  This is the first late payment or deragatory notation on the account.  The date of last activity you listed is March 2003, so the DFOD is probably a little before that or very close to that date.

Just to add....you will need a full report directly from the CRA to see this information. EQ reports DOFD, TU and EX reports a removal date-- subtract 7 - 7 1/2 years.
