Should I use a different card every month to keep a 2-4% utilization while I pay the balance off in full before the billing cycle ends on my other 2 cards? I have 3 new credit cards and I just learned about AZEO.
Does it matter for example if I always leave a small credit utilization on my Cap1 Platinum Card and never do it to my Discover or Amazon Cards? Or does it help my credit if I switch it up?
I checked and my statement balance is Nov 2 for Amazon, Nov 14th for Cap1 and Nov 26th for Discover.
I was going to always pay my balance in full before the statement date on my Discover and Amazon and leave a little on the Cap1. But if it helps my credit I have no problem rotating that.
Thanks!
Doesn't matter, let one card report a balance every month or rotate.
Chapter 13:
I categorically refuse to do AZEO!

you should? be able to move the discover/cap1 due dates to closer to the due date of the synchrony card, you can't pick the specific day, but you can get it closer from a list of options they allow for
but yeah, it doesn't matter which one reports
one thing you might experience though is your amazon card might just start randomly reporting your current balance, even before or after your statement date. this is something that synchrony just does, particularly to new cardholders.

Yikes really? if that's the case I'm gonna pay off the full balance on the Amazon Card 7-8 days before the statement date and just not ever use this card as the 1 to show a small utilization. I don't want any problems right now as I'm new trying to build credit.

I wouldn't really even worry about it, just don't want you to be shocked if it happens to you, AZEO is great to maximise your credit score before applications, and people here do it as a hobby, but you shouldn't inconvience how you want to spend money on cards to ensure you are AZEO
pay your bills in full by the due date and you'll be just fine building your credit
One thing I noticed the last cycle and I would like to pose it to the group at large as a question :
I practiced AZEO last cycle and was 1% overall of my uti with Discover reporting a 1% balance.
i am AU on my wife's BOA and it reported a 6 pct balance so I have two cards reporting a balance.
the moment the boa reported a balance increase my score went up by 7 pts and 4 pts on two of my reports.
is that just a coiincidence, ?? There were no other reason for the score to go up as the only event was a reported updated balance leaving 2/3 cards with balances albeit low uti ..

I think it depends in which Amazon card you have; I don't have either but my guess is the Chase Amazon (as with all Chase cards) reports mid-cycle if you PIF the card, I have no idea what the behavior is of the non-Chase Amazon card.
