A letter from applied bank... ................................................
Dear xxxx xxxx
Thank you for contacting Applied Bank’s Customer Service Department. We appreciate having this opportunity to be of service.
Upon receipt of your payment in the amount of $ XXX we will process a request to update the above account as charged-off paid in full. Please allow 30-60 days for the credit bureaus to delete this account from their records.

Seems to me that they agreed to my PFD. But I just want to get your opinions on the second part of this letter. Seems to contradict, but I believe that the statement says that they will FIRST update to CO PIF, then 30-60 days out, they will DELETE. Is this what everyone reads? Your opinions please...
It looks to me like you have a written agreement for deletion. Congrats!
I take that statement that they agreed as well, I just wanted to see what the community sees of this.
Applied Bank was tough...even though the SOL on this one was set to fall off in 3 years; apply for my mortgage would require this to be paid either way. So PFD letter worked the first time.
Thanks to this community, I have only one baddie left after Applied Bank is removed. And well, I hope that GW First Premier will work. Never will my credit ever run down this path ever again!!!
It looks like they accepted the PFD in not as many words. The updating of the account to paid charge-off is a bit strange but a win nonetheless with the last line! Good luck and congrats!
Well they deposited the check and it cleared my account as of today. I wonder if I should dispute this with the CB, or wait the time alotted according to the letter.
I'd give it some time if it were me.
I wonder if once removed, would I see a score increase. I do have 1 other CO, First Premier, that was PIF, but they still will not delete. I will be persistent sending my sob story in hopes that one day they will delete.
