For some reason my old thread was auto-deleted?  I updated the original post, is this against the rules?  My thread just randomly disappeared, anyone have this happen to them?

Rebuild timeline - Decided to update the original post with a timeline of scores / accounts opened, or collections paid.

5/1/17- Ex Fico 584

Opened Discover Secured - $200 ($200 deposit)

2 Collections Paid, 1 Unpaid

5/21/17 - EX Fico 584

Opened Capital One Secured - $200 ($99 deposit)

6/7/17 - EX Fico increased to 606 (Discover Secured reported)

9/4/17 - Ex Fico increased to 638 (Discover / Cap one both reporting)

Opened Jared Store Card - $2k (0% interest balance of $800)

Opened Best Buy Store Card - $1k (0% interest balance of $1k)

11/2/17 - Ex Fico dropped to 623 (Jared/Best Buy balances now reported, 56% overall utilization)

11/27/17 - Ex FICO increased to 639 

Credit steps increased on Cap One Secured from $200 to $500

46% overall utilization

12/8/17 Ex Fico 639

App'd for Chase Freedom Unlimited - denied

12/11/17 Ex Fico 639

Discover Secured Graduated, limit increased from $200 to $500, check for original deposit received 3 days later

Requested another CLI on Discover Secured- SP Denied (not enough experience with current limit)

12/14/17 Ex Fico 647 - increased due to "Credit usage and on-time payments"

12/24/17 Ex Fico 642 - Dropped due to Hard INQ for Cap one QS1

Opened Capital One QS1 - $300

1/9/18 EX Fico 647 - 5 point increase (not sure why)

2/4/18 EX Fico 648

Pre-quals for Chase and AMEX now showing 

Paid Portfolio Recovery - $720 - Last collection paid!  Report has 3 paid collections

Have you tried again on a CLI from Discover?

Best of luck on rebuild, sounds like we are at a pretty similiar point in rebuild, though your scores are a little higher than mine and I still have three unpaid collections I am looking to get paid in the near future(they are with Portfolio Recovery as well)

Haven't tried another CLI yet with discover, it hasn't quite been 90 days yet since it unsecured so I am waiting for that to try again.

Used Chase CSP Pre-qual - Denial (not enough revolving credit history)

This is really helpful for those of us starting out at the beginning! You have made a lot of progress in a short time, congrats!

Great work so far.

Chase is pretty big on at least a year with cc history. They also don't like being the first big limit card. The csp has a 5,000 minimum.

I think if you garden a bit, you got a great shot at one of the freedoms this summer.
