Other than disputing hospital bills how do I go about getting these Hospital Bills removed from my credit.

Re: Repair Credit

Assuming they are legit, there are two primary ways.

First is to, if possible, get them paid via medical insurance.  The CRAs recently entered into a consent decree with the NYS AG to remove any derogs reported on medical debt if it is paid by an insuror.

Second is to offer to pay the debt in exchange for their agreement to delete the negative reporting.  These are referred to as pay for delete  (PFD) offers, and are discussed extensively here in the forums.

There is a third possible process referred to as the "HIPAA Process" which is not permitted to be discussed in substance here in this forum, and is of dubious legal precedent.
