Santander Deleted got +93 points

Santander Consumer USA was deleted from my TU CRA today and I got +93. New TU score is 670....eyes set on 700 club now.  I'm so so so HAPPY!!!

First off

Congratssssss!!!!!!

How did you manage this? I have been trying to get lates deleted for months....The account was paid off in full.....they will not even consider it...

Any advice?

Lynn -- Strategic GW letters   Get Fax #'s ... Try to get ahold of the CEO and/or other officer email addresses ... They are the ones that can make something happen

Lynn--In my case, Santander re-aged a very old account and placed it on my credit reports.  I disputed the account with TU, but it came back verified so I filed a complaint with the BBB, FTC, and AG(Attorney General).  The BBB was the most instrumental in getting something done,as they suspended Santander's account with them when they didn't respond to my complaint. 2 months later they finally responded and sent me a letter stating that they completed an internal investigation and found my complaint was valid and that they were going to delete the account from my reports within 30 days.  Well, they deleted in 2 days and I am so happy that I decided to complain to all of the above agencies.

If I were you, I would continue sending off those GW letters...who knows they may get tired and budge!!

Big congrats to you!!  I have an auto loan with them that is killing me softly!!!

I have had it for about 8 months and the interest rate is crazy!!!
