Gottshalks/Cap One came off when I disputed due to not being able to obtain info on the late.
That left Sears as my only baddie.
It fell off TU in April, so when that Gottshalks came off, TU soared above EQ and EX. A sign of things to come.
Yesterday, I decided to dispute the Sears with EQ since it says in one place Paid as Agreed, it's showing no late payments, and then it has the remark that it was paid less than full balance. I said those two didn't seem to reconcile and the account was closed in 08, please remove.
So far I think what I've got is an auto action by EQ based on the fact it's disputed and under review. My EQ shot up 43 pts to match my TU. So as long as that sticks, I'm baddie free on two of three.
Need to decide if there's something to be done on EX. It would be nice for it to be gone entirely sooner rather than later.
Thanks for the help!

Do you mean just the Sears stuff? Or the stuff due to drop off in 7/08 to 10/08.
What reasoning? GW?
Yes the Sears account. The early exclusion can be asked for by calling/writing the CRAs 6 mo in advance of the scheduled drop date with TU and 2-3 months in advance with the other 2 CRAs. The EE is basically a goodwill jesture by the CRAs if they grant it.
Do you think I can do this online with EX dispute? Or does it need to be a call or email or letter?
I've been successful with disputing, but I'm working towards a mortgage and if they deny it and there's a dispute, I hear that's bad.
Also, question re: other posts in thread. re: DOFD
EX is saying it's 90 days late in September. But 30 days and 60 days say 0 times late. If it's 90 days late in September, doesn't that mean I must have been late before that?
I'd love to do this online if possible.
Without knowing exactly what was the basis for your disputes, it appears that the primary basis was the inconsistency in reporting between the CRAs.
That is not actually basis for a dispute. Creditors are not required to report each delinquency with each CRA. All that is required is that when a delinquency is reported for a given month, that the account was actually delinquent at least at that level. They can choose, for example, to report no delinquencies with one CRA, and each and every delinquency with another.
It appears that the Sears account in fact reached 120 late, and that they could accurately report a 30/60/90 and 120 late with each CRA.
Continued disputes could well cause them to update each CRA wilth all delinquencies.
All are approaching or past their 7 years. I would cease any disputes and continue only requests for early exclusion, or simply let them die of natural causes.

Thanks.
So does early exclusion have to be done by phone or mail, rather than online? Can it be done by email?
There are no rules governing the early exclusion request process.
It is purely an informal process.
Thanks. I searched on Experian Early Exclusion here and found a thread with a phone number. Since it's Sunday, I opted to upload stuff and hopefully that will do (just a note asking for the early exclusion). We'll see what comes of it. The blurb upon submission said that items uploaded on the weekend are considered the next business day, so I'll be checking my email and looking for myfico alerts!
