Re: Since when does inq help?

I'm looking at a TU report I rulled today and it shows 9 INQ's but some of them had multiple pulls.  Like SYNCB(no clue who this is) shows 10/2013, 03/2014 and 05/2014.  Does that count as 3?

I still have 5 that were un authorized from a dealer that I can't get removed.  They have a year left.

Only 2 set o fall off later this year. Again this is only TU.

Any of the 9 INQ's over a year thus having no scoring effect?

Edit and who was the score update from?

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: Since when does inq help?

It was here on myFICO. EX? I think.  I don't pay for the others here because I get TU free from Wal-Mart.

Re: Since when does inq help?

Well I've pulled TU and EQ and I can't find that ONLINE collections that'd I'd been fighting for the past 8 months.  I don't want to get my hopes up that they actually removed the stinking thing tho.

Re: Since when does inq help?

Yes my update came from SW.  I just double checked and it is the EQ score we get here on myFICO with the SW subscription.

I'm pretty sure Discover told me they pulled EX when I talked to them yesterday.

Yes, I recon'd, twice.  They said they denied me because of the tax lien and I told them I had the documents showing that it was paid and released and they said it didn't matter.

The alert I got this morning had the INQ from Discover sited.

Hope that covers everything!

Re: Since when does inq help?

Ok, I have pulled all three and the new collection that hit me from ONLINE Collections back in Nov appears to be gone from all three reports.  Previously I had been getting an alert around the 25th of every month where they were updating and making it look like a new collection had been added.  I am pretty confident that is were the 15 pts came from.  I lost 24 when they hit me back in Nov.  I now have 2 unpaid medicals and a paid tax lien and a paid medical reporting.

Re: Since when does inq help?

I tried!!  I really did.  It seems really unfair that the paid tax lien is going to continue to hold me down for an additional 7 years.

Do me a personal favor

Try one more time and if they say denied

Try this but this is the only card I want and would really like to start a relationship with Discover and would be willing to start with a low limit just to prove myself to Discover

Good luck
