@Anonymous wrote:hello, is there some sort of genertic letter to use? i have been reading that having certain types of letters get you better results. im new to trying to get things removed by myself than paying someone else to do. i mean if we had the money to pay someone else to do this we wouldnt have been late on payments right? haha anyway i got divorced and just trying to repair my credit now. i want to purchase a new home next year.
Based on my experience my advice is to keep the letter honest and concise and tailored to your situation. I looked up many letters on the forums and used some wording here and there but I feel my success was how honest I was and the background regarding the mistake.
@Anonymous wrote:Thank you for the encouragement! I sent out GW letters last week and received a call from Rapid City today. The rep told me they have to follow the rules/regulations and they couldn't delete the TLs. I guess I will keep on sending GW letters until it works.
Good luck. Companies always say that, but it’s up to them if they want to remove it or not. I have worded an early removal so I’m not denying the validity but requesting early delete. It has worked, but don’t give up they will give in with time.

Hey! You’re post really gave me hope and I got in touch with the corporate specialist. She sent me the generic letter saying it’s reported correctly and cannot delete it. Any advice on what I should do next? Also, did you get the deletion right after talking to the specialist, or did you have to convince her? Thanks!!
All you can do is to continue writing the CEOs office asking for the GW. As this thread is now over a year old and the OP isnt posting in it its now being closed to further comments. You can start your own thread on subject if you need further assistance. Welcome to the board
