I just wanted to thank all the members of this forum for the great advise they contribute on this site.
I've been lurking on the site for nearly 2 years now.
I started with a TU score of 528 (Fico) EQ 506 (Fico) Experian 556 (experian.com). Scores were low due to me being young and so very dumb, not thinking of the consequences. My scores were as you can see horrible.
But as of today, I'm currently at TU 663 EQ 642 EXP 678.
I've had the same Cap One card for over 8 years used it every now again a PIF every month haven't received a CLI since opening the account.
I've gone 2 years inquiry free and currently have 9 inquires do to a app spree for credit cards. I must say those 2 years were very rough!
Once again Thank you to ALL.
What cards did you get from your app spree?
Congrats to you, I know full well the hard road rebuilding takes. Keep up the great work.
Congrats! Keep it going!!...and tell us what you got out of that app spree?
Congrats. I see from your info that while you registered initially in 2009, this is your first post. Hopefully you will be able to come back before 2017 to tell us the results of your app spree I am starting my journey now with similar scores to your beginning scores. Hopefully I can improve my scores like you did.
Happy dance!!!!

Honestly, the key is just to follow the advise offered on this forum and basically manage finances.
it was a long hard Journey, but it definately paid off!
