To charge or not to charge

Have recently paid both my credit cards balances in full. One is due on 5/3/13 and the other on 5/5/13. I have read here that it is helpful to carry a small balance before or on the statement date that will help raise score. So my question is ......should I charge a small amount on one card before the due date, or just keep things as they are?

Re: To charge or not to charge

Are you planning to app for new credit in the next 30 days? If not - then there's no need to specifically make a purchase. Unless you just feel like experimenting to see what the results might do to your scores.
