I was able to successfully negioate a PFD with National Credit Systems on 6/20 (paid on the spot). This was removed from my EX credit report on 6/25, and received a score update on 6/26. Unfortunately, my TU report is still showing this collection account with balance as of today. It would appear that NCS held up their end of the deal, any idea when I can expect it come off my TU report (or at the very least show $0 balance)?

You'll probably have to wait for when NCS does their monthly updates to certain bureaus. Sometimes its 30 or even 60 days. And some CRA';s are a bit slower than others. Give it a week. If not by then. Then I'd make a reminder call. Heck it may pop up tomorrow.

That was my initial thought but I needed the venerable FireMedic1 to confirm my suspicions! Thank you so much for what you do for this community.
Thanks. They may have sent it as a batch to all 3 CRA's. TU is usually slow. Good things come to those who wait. In this case. The wait is worth it. I know we want it now!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Update: It appears that the collection account has been removed from my TU credit report. Will see if score updates tomorrow.

Booyah! Congrats! Same deal. CK will show it before a FICO site. Might take a day or two.

I got the notification on CK for DOE collection account removal and I'm like yes, its coming! It did, -3 on FICOs 😂 I've been waiting months for this and it looks like I'll be waiting months more 🙃
