I'm feeling really good today.
For context, I went through an expensive divorce in 2014 and unfortunately fell seriously behind in my Carmax payments for a car whose engine died requireing an expensive repair. Financially, my best course of action was to allow that loan to default and get a new car. It went unpaid with a $8900 balance along with another loan settled (for less) CO with GM auto financing whose DFD is 6/2014. My DFD for Carmax was 1/2014 to be officially deleted from TU 12/20 but was instantly deleted over the phone today by way of a 6 month EE after a long 45 minute wait and transfer to a supervisor. It was well worth every minute. My TU went up 11 points. I expected more but I guess the other GM CO continues to hold me down. GM comes off 12/20 with EE.
My payment history is perfect except for the 2 CO's and I keep my CU under 8%. I have an auto loan with a perfect payment history but only about 25% of the loan has been paid back.
Sweet. Congrats!
Congrats on your EE!
Woohoo!
Can I ask you how fast/where you saw the score increase?
My SO had 8 derog accounts removed yesterday, also (12/20 naturall fall off date, same as you), and we haven't seen any update other than from a credit pull via annual credit report, which doesn't give credit scores out. It has not been updated on any other platform yet.
Maybe you just did a 3B pull from myFico or Experian (or somewhere else?)?
Thanks and congrats, again!

I could be wrong but from what I remember the removal of accounts is not a trigger for myFICO alert
