TransUnion online dispute ?

Hi,
I tried to file a dispute online with TransUnion but could not complete it.

In the instructions, it says to review my report then select the item I would like to dispute. However, I can view my report but there doesn’t seem to be anywhere I can click on to dispute any of the items on my report.

I do see where I could edit my address/phone/etc history, but no where to click for a dispute, it says I should be able to click to file a dispute beside the item I would like to dispute. But nothing is there. It just lists all the accounts on my credit report with no where to start the dispute.

Am I doing something wrong or has anyone else had this issue? If so, did you figure out how to dispute?

Thanks for reading, I have just now started trying to repair my credit and don’t have a lot of experience.

Also, any general tips or pointers regarding credit repair/rebuilding would be greatly appreciated.

No, I have a couple things I want to dispute but haven’t been able to get anywhere with the online process.

I was thinking of just mailing in the disputes. I don’t know if there’s a form or something for that, I haven’t got that far in figuring it out, but it seems like mailing in may be the best way to complete the disputes, since I’ve tried over and over online and can’t make any progress

It's best if disputes are done via certified mail. Make sure you attach all supporting evidence and be very clear in your letter what you're disputing. 

If online dispute process is what you want to do, you may try doing it through Credit Karma's website. I'd recommend against it, but it's certainly an option

It may just be a browser issue. Switch to another and try again. Is this the page you started on?

I think I’ll take your advice, it seems to be the most effective way to get the credit-score ball rolling...hopefully uphill 😁

Yes I started on the disputes homepage. I’m using an iPhone so I don’t know if it’s my browser or something else. I’ve gotten so frustrated with it, I give up. I think I will use the mail option instead.

I had filed a couple of disputes with Experian and Equifax online, and had good results. Also, the process was easy and quick. I guess 2 out of 3 ain’t bad, and hopefully I can make some progress with TransUnion soon.

You must go to the specific website for TransUnion disputes as it’s not on their main site and the username and password will not be the same as the main site

You will need to do the dispute online via a computer or something, it wasn’t showing the available options to me neither the other day using my IPhone so must be using a mobile issue. I even requested the desktop and it never displayed all the options but soon as I got on my home computer all was easily done.
