How is the Most Recent Collection Occured calculated on MyFico? Equifax shows 2 years 6 months. TransUnion shows 12 months ago. I think its becuase Equifax is reporting a old debt as a active account and its being factored into my exisiting utilization still, where TransUnion is reporting it just as a colelctions and I can view it only on Myfico collections tab. Does date of most recent collections occured change each time a old debt is sold to a different collections company? Does my score continually get a hit everytime the debt transfers hands? DOFD was 12/06 by the way. Thoughts?
