Hi there,
I'm starting my journey of credit repair. I have two questions.
1). I disputed a few medical bill collection accounts with allied collections on Experian (and other bureaus). Within the day, I no longer see these collections on Experian. I can see other things that show that they are like pending disputing. But these have disappeared. I have not received any dispute result notifications at all and my FICO went up two points this same day. Does anybody know what this could mean?
2.) I disputed a bill on TransUnion as well. I received an email that there are dispute results, but when I log in I see no results.
Thank you in advance!

Are these legitimate disputes or are you rolling the dice hoping they will fall off, but you really do owe them?
Many times the items may come off your report now, but in some time they may pop back up as verified, which will hit your scores again because the items are "updated".
They may never show up again. It is a roll of the dice, but the CBs sometimes get's your hopes up by taking them off and then shortly later replacing them back in once the CA or OC verifies the info
Not sure about obtaining the results. I recently did a dispute and the results were there when I clicked on the link.
Good luck!
@Anonymous these are legitimate. If they weren't legitimate, would they still be able to put them back on there after the allotted 30 days?
Just curious because that was the first question that popped in my head.

I would NOT being disputing legtimate items, these can come back to bite you dearly.
Have you tried to contact them and offer a pay for deletion?
No I didn't because I disputed these 4 items for legitimate reasons. I'm just curious as to why 2 are no longer there for me to check back in without any notification.

What was the legit reason for disputing? You stated the debt was legitimate debt, right?
They disappeared because you disputed them. They will, most likely, reappear once confirmed and cause you more harm than good.
I disputed them because I have no idea where they came from. I only asked that they validate the debt. They were for labs and medical services I do not recognize. They are anywhere from $78-$500, but I am not paying for services I did not receive. It is the principle.
Not that I think me going into detail necessarily assists with the question I asked.
I do have another question regarding my student loans. I consolidated these and they are in good standing. My paid/closed accounts are still on my report. How can I get these removed? They are also over 7 years old. But they are closed so I'm a little confused and not finding much help searching for answers.

Hmm. Well, have a good night then!

Accounts closed in good standing will remain on your reports for ~10 years after the closing date. There is no reason to have those loans removed if the payment history is 100% positive. The loans are helping your credit profile with respect to history and will continue to age and contribute to your age of accounts -- which accounts for 15% of your FICO score. Leave them be.
