UPDATE - REMOVED! Two Collection Agencies Reporting Same Collection - Enhanced Recovery & CBE

UPDATE! I reached out to Enhanced Recovery (ERC) on 5/7 requesting deletionn with Experian and I recieved an email back on Friday 5/9 that they would submit a request for deletion.  As of today (5/12) BOTH collection accounts are gone! Unfortunately CBE group is still reporting on Trans and EQ (and still reporting UNPAID) but one step at a time Thanks for your help!!

I have two collection agencies CBE & ERC reporting the same debt to DirecTV from 2009.  Enhanced Recovery reported it 1/13 and CBE reported it 2/14.  I contacted CBE and explained my situation (common I am sure), that I moved out and former roommates returned boxes (allegedly).  I never recieved any information from either collection agency and only found out once I saw them on my CR.  

ERC is only still listed on Ex.  I have paid the account in full (CBE has not updated yet).  What is the best way to have ERC remove from my Experian report.  

I thought that a CA was required to remove from CR once they no longer owned the debt? 

I am so close in my journey towards home ownership but this one in particular is really hurting me because it is counting towards my outstanding debt!

The DV would go to the CAs address listed on your CRs.

Thanks all!  I sent an email requesting removal on 5/7 since the account was sold and paid in full!  Now to wait!  (And hope that the CA I paid directly too actually updates the CB soon as well!)  I will update once resolved
