Using Credit Cards Properly

After 1.5 years of gardening I've managed to obtain 3 unsecured non annual fee credit cards. I'm now finished inquiring for anything for two years to drop my inquiries down to zero. I want to utilize each credit card, but using each one every month is inconvienent. Can I use a different credit card every three months or do i need to use each one every month for the card to report to the CB? Won't the card report as long as the account is open?

Re: Using Credit Cards Properly

They don't all need to report a balance to the CRAs.  Let 2 report 0 balances and the other 9% or under.

You can use them however you want, just make sure only one reports the balance.  It doesn't matter how you do it.  It is suggested to at least use the 2 not reporting every now and again so it won't be closed for nonusage.

+1

Also OP you can switch which card reports each month

This is what I do most months

This month Amex

Next month Discover

Next month Barclay,

CAP1

FNBO

Walmart

Etc etc etc

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?
