I'm  not understadning your situation.  You stated you recevied a letter from a CA, but the tradeline is not showing on your credit report.  What tradeline is currently on your credit report?  What's the PFD is for if it not reporting.  Chances are it will soon report.

You can pay the balance to Entergy directly.  You can contact customer service and get your QPC and account number.  Entergy will give you the number to Bill Matrix to make the payment or you can go to a local pay station..

Re: Utility Collection

I was going to PFD with Entergy because it is listed as a chargeoff. Yesterday I received a letter from CA for this Entergy account, but the CA is not showing up on report, only Entergy is reporting.

Re: Utility Collection

Call Entergy and make the payment directly with them.  When you speak to a CSR, have the CSR to send a notification to have a supervisor call you before you make the payment.  The department that has the authority to make the type of deal you want is the credit and collections department.  You won't get direct contact with anybody in that department.

The call center supervisor doesn't have that authority to make any PFD deals.  Their purpose is to resolve high bill complaints that the CSR or Escalation not able to handle. Therefore, you should use the supervisor contact when he/she call to get the address or fax number to send your PFD letter.
