Very nice. Almost 100 points in 3 months.  There is hope for me yet.  I had a 28 point jump and I'm doing the happy dance.  Can't imagine what I'd do for 83

DW has had a 107 bump in 3 months.  She just checks with me every so often.  "What's my score now?"

But I'm the one cleaning and building her scores too.  So kind of working against myself.

My wife doesn't work, I'm very "old school" for a young guy. She does enough work taking care of me and my 2 boys. I'm so jealous when I pull her credit and I get the "You have a thin credit file" and they don't give me anything. Obviously, without income of her own she can't do much but I wonder if I could start "building" positive history for her with secured's and AU's as I get better down the road..set her up in case I pass or something.

Sphinx, same with future/wife but she is headed to different route. Regardless she has a thin credit file, if in were you I'd get her an secured card. Whatever the limit is have that amount saved somewhere never to be touched except for that card if you're ever unable to pay, I know doesn't make sense because it's a secured account. This however is someone else's life, and report, you should be extra careful. That's what I'm currently doing for my girlfriend/fiance. I'll let you know what her fico is next month =)
