Waypoint Resource Group

I was doing SO WELL with my rebuild. Scores were in the mid 600's and I was dumping subprime cards in exchange for prime lender cards.

Woke up yesterday to an 89 point decrease (basically across all 3 bureaus).

Waypoint Resource Group is the Collection Agency.

Comcast is the alleged creditor.

Amount allegedly owed is $413.

Called them yesterday and they were not willing to budge on anything. Told them all communication needs to be in writing from now on.

I'll be mailing them a DV letter. After that, if it comes back valid, I will ask for a PFD.

Does anyone know the trick with these guys? I've read "PFD is not allowed per their policy".

Best bet is to ask comcast to recall the debt from the CA in exchange for payment.

OP, many have had success getting it deleted, but they will not do PFD.

It is a gamble, but everyone seems successful. Search the forum for Waypoint and you will find what you look for.

what you mean people have had success with waypoint but cannot get a pfd (pay for delete) ? 

you're saying they pay the debt with waypoint and waypoint removes it from their credit report ?
