It depends on what your overall line of credit and utilization is. You just freed up almost $3k against your cc utilization with the cap 1 removals. When I first started, I had 2 charge offs from cosigning several years ago. I gained almost 30 points because my utilization went from 90% to 2%. You still have other charge offs and collections affecting you but I think you have the possibility of gaining 10-20 points just for reducing your debt. Every file is different so it is hard to say.
Good luck!

Unfortunately, it's true. You may not even get five points. When you have several other derogatories or your reports you will gain next to nothing.
You WILL NOT see a significant score increase until your VERY LAST baddie is gone.
That is not true at all. I have a foreclosure, a second mortgage charge off and a motorcycle repo and charge off on my report. When my two credit card charge offs came off my score went from, 640 to 710.
It's very true. Congratulations, you were in the extreme minority. Very hard to believe. I'm sure it's true, but very hard to believe.
I had a bunch of charge offs, collections, car repo and default student loans and my score went up with every single deletion. My score also went up just by paying writeoffs. Time will tell what happens to your scores.. Keep us posted.
FICO score, which one?
Creditkarma?
If you have a ton of collections, removing one or two won't make much of a dent IF they are all the same age and are collections and not charge offs with non-zero balances. Removing half of them from a big list will make a dent for sure, though. You just can't get anywhere near 700 until that list is down to almost nothing.
I have had super old collections fall off that gave me small bumps and a CapOne that was still a charge off with a balance, updated every month the entire time, which spiked me up as much as 40 points while still having three collections. Mind you, my other collections were super old and not being updated, not showing balances on the original accounts.
I have to gotten there yet, but I hear removing the last bad mark can raise your score a lot so long as everything else looks good. I don't think you can get above a certain score with any collections. OP is still waaaaay better off even having removed those accounts. A 400s score is abysmal. At least now OP can get secured cards if needed.
Now I gotta google 609 processes, what the heck is that?
Credit for this goes to @RobertEG
FCRA 609 is not a dispute process. Section 609 relates to the process for consumers to request information of record in their credit file.
It permits you, upon submitting proof of identity, the request info that may not be showing in your commercail credit report, such as the DOFD.
Credit for this goes to @RobertEGThe FCRA dispute processes are under FCRA 611 (dispute through a CRA) pr FCRA 623(a)(8) (direct dispute with the furnisher).
The rules for disputing are set forth in those sections, and not under section 609.
I've had more score go up by having a collection removed, while 2 other paid collections are still on my report, along with one CO and two other accounts that have late payments (all relatively old but still considered negative accounts because of the lates). Good luck and keep us posted. Also congrats on the increase you've already gotten.
