I am trying to obtain a mortgage and I know that you can't have any lates within the last 12 months.
My question is this................we had a voluntary repo in January 2009 and we paid the deficiency balance off January 2010.
So is January 2009 the last late payment?
I know I am probably making this much more difficult than it really is ![]()
Your last payment date is January 2010 on this account,
Also, the OC can report lates monthly up to the point you PIF (or settled).
It says 90 days late Jan 09 and then KD all the way through Feb 10? So it appears that the last true "late payment" is Jan 09?
And this is what MYFICO shows:

If "KD" is up through 2/2010, then the last late would be then. KD is a term used by 3rd party report providers, like CCT, to define a late 90 days or greater. If you pull your CR directly from the CRA, you should get a clearer picture of what is reporting for those months leading up to 2/2010.
