Sorry ,your post didn't receive any replies last week, so ........Here's a "Bump".
Call the CRA and ask.
The CRA obviously has some issue with reporting on the account. It's impossible to say what their issue is without inquiry,
It could be that the debt collector stupidly provided the CRA with the reason for their deletion, which they are not required to do.
If they informed the CRA that their deletion was based on payment of the debt, that reason is directly contrary to CRA policy, and perhaps they are questioning the appropriateness of the reported deletion.
