Last year, a collection from National Credit Solution appeared, unannounced on my CRs. It was a utility bill from 2004 that I had disputed with the original creditor. Five years later it shows up on my reports. I disputed with the 3 bureaus and all except for Experian deleted. On the dispute copy of my EX report the comments section says--
"Completed investigation of FCRA dispute - consumer disagrees."
NCS updated it for six months straight from Aug08 to Jan09, then stopped the updating.
I pulled a EX report w/EX plus score in Oct09. The comments on this collection now says--
"Subscriber reports dispute resolved - consumer disagrees."
Why does the comments say one thing then a year later say something different?
Also, does the "subscriber reports dispute resolved" mean that I had contact with the CA and resolved it with them?
I want to dispute this item again as it is the only negative out of all my reports. The first time I just did it online, before I saw the light and found MYFICO. I'd appreciate it if anyone could give me a little advice on where to start.
