I did the pre-approval thing on CreditOne.com and I was denied, not surprised, but what does this mean?

It's supposed to be an Experian score:

We also calculated a custom risk score from information contained in your credit report obtained from the above listed consumer reporting agency Your credit score is a number that        reflects the information in your credit report. They used their own scoring system which can happen sometimes.

when i was in a similar boat to what you are in i went cap one secured....not saying they would approve you but it is substantially cheaper than almost any card credit one has
